Adidas made this boot using super soft leather, known as hybrid touch synthetic material. There is a key feature on this boot that comes in the form of an enlarged predator SL rubber element, that is built into the upper area of the boot. This can help with the grip on the ball for close control. It also aids when tackling an opponent, as the grip allows the player to pull the ball away from their opposition.

There is a gel pass pad built into the side of the boot which acts as a comfort when controlling the ball or passing the ball.

The forefoot is more flexible and lighter than ever, allowing great comfort, and not affecting the speed of the player. The Adidas predator instinct is completed with Traxion 2.0 moulded triangular studs, allowing good grip and acceleration out of difficult encounters.
